Molly Golden Retriever Pacific, MO

Molly is a purebred Golden Retriever who came to us after retiring from breeding. She has come a long way from being unsure of people to now requiring pets and affection. She is adjusting well to her new life and her personality is really coming out. When she is happy, she wiggles from the tip of her tail to her shoulders. She has decided that she wants to be the only dog in the home so she can get all of the attention. With exception to her best friend Penny who is also up for adoption. We would love to adopt them together if we can. We don't know how she is around children, so any children in the home need to be older (10+) and dog savvy. We don't know how she is around cats. She does have Spondylosis. Spondylosis is defined as a non-inflammatory, degenerative disease of the vertebral bodies of the spine. Many affected dogs live satisfactory lives, even though they may be somewhat limited in flexibility and range of motion. A home without a lot of stairs would be ideal. She requires a securely fenced yard connected to an exit door of the home, fence must be at least 4 feet high, no invisible fences.

Molly is 4 years old. Her current weight is around 80 pounds.

All members of the household, including your current dog, need to meet the dog you are interested in. Vet records for any current or previous pets need to be provided. If all goes well, home visits are done prior to adoption, and you must be within reasonable distance for that to be accomplished.
