Molly's Story
Meet Molly!

AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER, ADOPTION, OR FOSTER TO ADOPT

Molly is currently living at the shelter and is eligible for BFAR’s Foster to Adopt program.

Molly is a red nose Pit Bull born mix on May 23, 2025, and weighs approximately 65 pounds. She is a very friendly, high-energy girl who loves people, walks, toys, treats, affection, and just about anything fun. She is a typical happy, playful Pitty who can settle once her energy and excitement are appropriately managed.

AT THE SHELTER: Molly is potty trained and does well with a bed. She can be vocal in her kennel, which is common for an active young dog coping with the boredom and stress of shelter life.

TRAINING: Molly knows sit and walks best on a properly fitted prong collar. Without it, she pulls. She can become overstimulated on walks and needs a confident handler who knows how to calmly help her refocus. Baby talk and petting when she jumps only add to her excitement. She is still working on impulse control, mouthiness, and keeping all four paws down during greetings.

OTHER DOGS: Molly is dog friendly and could live with another dog following intentional meet and greets and slow introductions.

CHILDREN: Molly has not been tested with children. Because she can be jumpy, mouthy, and energetic, she needs a home with children ages 12 and older.

CATS: Molly has not been cat tested.

BEST FIT: Molly needs an active family committed to continuing her training and comfortable managing her overstimulation.

All of our dogs are up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and on preventatives.

For more information, visit our website:
https://buddyandfriendsma.org

To be considered for adoption, an application must be submitted at:
https://buddyandfriendsma.org/adopt

To be considered for fostering or the Foster to Adopt program, an application must be submitted at:
https://buddyandfriendsma.org/foster

MA License Number: 52
