Molly's Story

Meet Molly!<br/>Molly is a young female German Shepherd/Husky mix with the perfect blend of brains, beauty, and sass. She’s doing wonderfully with her training and already knows sit, lay down, and come — and she’s eager to keep learning! Molly is very smart and thrives when she has structure, enrichment, and someone excited to work with her. This energetic girl will need a home with plenty of space to run and burn off energy, but once she’s had her exercise, she turns into an extremely affectionate and loyal companion to her person. She has that classic Husky sass paired with the intelligence and striking look of a German Shepherd, making her as entertaining as she is loving. Molly would do best with an active adopter who can continue her training and give her both physical and mental stimulation. In return, you’ll get a devoted, loving best friend who’s always ready for the next adventure — and a cuddle afterward. Not suitable for households with cats. Dog selective. Could do well with kids 12 and up. Would benefit from an adopter with husky experience. Come meet her in person! Open 12-3 every day, no appointment needed.

Dessin Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
Adoption: You need to submit an adoption application. The link is below. Once approved, we'll schedule an appointment. Spay and neuter: No pet gets adopted without being spayed or neutered. We're part of the solution to the pet overpopulation problem. Ten point behavioral assessment: A formal, ten point behavioral assessment is conducted on each dog to attempt to identify aggression or behavior problems, as well as to learn about the dog's personality. This helps us determine the best type of home for each dog/puppy.
