Molly may be your perfect match!<br/><br/>This bright-eyed beauty is a soft, fluffy ball of fun who loves playing with her foster siblings, going for walks, and soaking up attention from her humans.<br/><br/>Molly already knows some basic commands—Sit, Stay, Place, Off, and Down—but she doesn’t always follow through just yet. Sometimes she’s still learning, and other times she may simply be choosing to ignore them. With her strong food motivation, though, she’s set up for success with continued training and consistency in her new home.<br/><br/>She is crate-trained and has been doing very well with house training. At her previous home, Molly would bark and run to the door when she needed to go outside. At her foster home, she also uses the doggy door.<br/><br/>Molly has a history of urinary tract infections but has been doing wonderfully on her special prescription diet (Royal Canin Urinary SO, canned or dry). It’s important that her new family keeps her on this food to keep her healthy. She’s also a big fan of bladder-friendly treats like bully sticks and yak chews!<br/><br/>Playtime is one of her favorite things—Molly loves her toys, and any toy her size is guaranteed to make her happy. She would thrive in a home with a backyard to run and play in, and she’d enjoy having another playful doggy companion.<br/><br/>Molly came to us from a loving home where her previous owner could no longer care for her due to health issues. Heartworm negative & on prevention<br/><br/>If you’re ready to welcome a playful sweetheart who also happens to be an expert cuddler, Molly can’t wait to meet you! ?<br/><br/>Adoption Information<br/><br/>Please note: Because of their size, our dogs are not suitable for homes with children under 5.<br/><br/>We do not have a physical facility — all of our dogs live in loving foster homes.<br/>Lil’ Paws is a small, all-volunteer organization. To best use our limited time and resources, we are only able to correspond with individuals who have submitted an adoption application.<br/><br/>If you live in the immediate Austin area and are interested in adopting from Lil' Paws Maltese Rescue and Other Petite Paws, please visit www.lilpaws.org This is the first step in our process. Unfortunately, we are unable to adopt outside the Austin area.<br/><br/>Our local adoption requirement is due to the thoroughness of our process, which includes home visits and a trial adoption period to ensure the dog has adjusted well. With our very small team of volunteers, it is not possible to conduct these steps outside our area. Even if you are willing to travel, we must keep our efforts local to maintain the integrity of our process.<br/><br/>We suggest that you attend a Meet and Greet Event, if at all possible, to visit with our dogs and meet the dog that you might be interested in. This is also a good time for you meet the dog's foster.
