Mojito

Mojito is a love bug! This very sweet girl loves every person she's met. She's got a happy-go-lucky vibe. Just imagine a lab in what looks like a little German Shepherd body! She's very playful in short stints and then is pretty content to hang on the couch or sit next to her foster mom while she works in her office.

Mojito does well with other dogs but may need a slow introduction to new dogs that are on the feistier side. She hasn't lived with cats but has definitely barked at ones she's seen, so cats in the home may not be the best fit. Given her loving and easygoing nature, she is likely to do well with kids (although she hasn't had experience with them).

Mojito loves her crate and is very manageable on a leash. She doesn't chew anything but what she's supposed to and doesn't shed much, if at all. Mojito is most certainly a gal that has spent most of her life outside, so she's still learning where the bathroom is and is not. Her foster mom has every confidence she'll get there; she just needs a bit more time and a little patience.

Swing by the AARF House on Saturdays between 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. to meet our adoptable animals! We're located at 302 Thurston Street in Winston-Salem. Get the adoption process started and head to aarfws.org to fill out an application!
