Mochi's Story

**If interested, please do not send us a message through PetFinder. Instead, please go to our website to fill out an application: www.projectpawsdogrescue.com**

Meet Mochi! This little girl is a 5 month old, Shepherd/Husky cross coming to us from a Northern community. She is a playful and fun-loving pup.

Mochi is proving to be quite an intelligent and curious puppy. She already knows several commands taught to her by her foster parents, including "sit", "spin", "up" and "paw". She's a quick learner and eager to please. Mochi is already mostly housetrained and will usually signal that she needs to go outside. Her crate training is also coming along well. She didn't like it at first, but now will go into it for naps and sleeps in it through the night. Her adopters will need to continue her puppy training.

Mochi is also great with other dogs and gets very excited about cats. Whenever she sees the cat in her foster home, she is hyped and ready to play but is quickly learning to restrain herself and respect if the cat does not want to interact with her. Mochi is, however, a bit apprehensive of children. Her fosters have been working on socializing her with respectful kids and have seen improvement in that respect, but a home without very young children would be best suited for this girl.

Mochi is up-to-date on vaccines and will be spayed before going home but we are accepting applications on her now.

If you're interested in adopting or learning more about Mochi, please submit an application!
