Mochi's Story

A FUNNY FLUFF BALL

Mochi or Mochi Bear as we call him (because he looks like a little bear), is a 1-2 year old beautiful Chow Chow. He is cautious for the first few minutes with new people and situations but a big, goofy love bug once he warms up. He makes the cutest snorting sounds when excited. He gets so happy when seeing his favorite people and dogs, he just can't contain himself, snorting, wagging his tail and jumping around. This ball of fluff is really great with cats and lives with one now as well as his two foster dog brothers. Mochi has very good dog social skills and has done well with everyone he has met.

It is very entertaining watch this boy do some zoomies in the yard and chase his own tail!. He likes to follow his person around and sit next to them, really enjoying his face, ears, bum and tummy being rubbed. Hugs are great also and he likes light to medium brushing of his coat. Mochi Bear knows some commands- sit, down, and is working on paw and come. He is a very gentle taker of treats.

Mochi rides well in the car but does get car sick so a homeopathic for nausea is recommended before trips. He is crate trained and leash trained, being very enthusiastic about walks and getting to explore. Fish treats are a favorite as well as his fish food that he eats. Benebones are Mochi's choice of bones to chew. This playful boy loves the Chuck It Ball. Of course due to his long, thick coat he absolutely loves cold weather and snow.

Mochi's ideal adopter is someone who is experienced with Chows or dominant breeds and a fenced yard for him to play in. Also someone who finds his snorting as endearing as we do. Give us a call if you would like to meet this little bear.
