MOCHA aka WONKA

Wonka came to us from Yuma and has settled into her foster home easily and does bond with her caregiver quickly! She is a very good girl and does seem to have some (mild) separation anxiety and would prefer someone home most of the time though she has not been destructive. Wonka is around 4 years old and petite for a lab (only 47 lbs). She likely was previously used for a breeder dog however is also extremely well socialized with people and other dogs (cats unknown but she is a gentle soul)

Wonka is housebroken (with dog door), leash trained and does fine in a crate for short periods though also has very nice house manners. She gets scared by bikes and motorcycles whizzing by.

In a small, dog park survey, we agreed that Wonka is a stupid name, and we are now calling her Mocha. As a mix of chocolate Labrador and something, Mocha seems right. She is a cuddler. And she wants to be a bed mate (not permitted, not enough bed!) She loves belly rubs from humans, and keep-away with her foster brother. She is a social girl, and thoroughly domesticated. She will make an active human or family a wonderful pet.

Wonka is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped so is ready to go to her own forever family!
