New things startle her, and she spends much of her time shaking and tucking her tail. She is going to need someone who understands that she may not immediately know how to be a confident, happy dog. She needs

time, reassurance, patience, and—most importantly—someone willing to earn her trust.

â¤ï ̧

Even during her first night, she showed just how much support she is going to need. She was too frightened to go to the bathroom despite eating and drinking, although she finally went sometime during the early morning hours. This isn’t about her being difficult—it’s about her being overwhelmed and scared.

We believe Mocha needs some time to adjust

, but with the right person and a safe, patient environment, we hope she can slowly learn that the world isn’t so scary. â¤ï ̧

Because of her fear, Mocha would do best with someone who is truly available to spend time with her and help her build confidence at her own pace. She will need someone who understands that progress may be slow and that trust cannot be rushed.

She is current on her vaccinations, and is being

spayed and microchipped today

, so her medical needs through the rescue are complete.

Mocha isn’t looking for someone to simply take her home. She’s looking for someone willing to

show her, day by day, that she is safe and loved.

â¤ï ̧

If you have the patience and heart to help Mocha come out of her shell, she may be the girl you’ve been waiting for.

Apply to adopt at
4luckydogs.org

#4LuckyDogs #AdoptMocha #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #MiniLabradoodle #LabradoodleLove #ForeverHome #RescueDogs #AdoptMe
