Meet Mocha, a beautiful ~4-year-old, 52-pound Chow mix who is DOG-FRIENDLY, people-friendly, snuggly, playful, and ready for adventure! <br/><br/>She has been waiting far too long. Since October 2023, this beautiful girl has been hoping that someone will finally see what we see: an amazing, loving companion who is ready for a home of her own. And we have BIG news about Mocha! <br/><br/>Over the past few weeks, she has made huge progress with other dogs. She has played successfully with different dogs—calm dogs, playful dogs, and even a group of six dogs! She joined in the group zoomies, played individually and in smaller groups, and did beautifully sharing space, sniffing around other dogs, and even hanging out near the water bowl.<br/><br/>She can still become overstimulated after a lot of activity, so we'll continue building her confidence and playtime gradually. But WOW—Mocha is ready for her home! <br/><br/>And when the zoomies are over? Mocha has an off switch. She is perfectly happy to roll around in the sunshine and relax.<br/><br/>Mocha LOVES:<br/>- Hiking and long walks<br/>- Running and backyard zoomies<br/>- Car rides—she's a great passenger! <br/>- Snuggling and attention from her people<br/>- Learning routines and commands<br/>- Being part of whatever her family is doing<br/><br/>She is friendly and affectionate with people and would make an incredible adventure buddy and loyal companion. Mocha needs lots of exercise and activity, so an active family would be ideal. A yard would be wonderful, but the most important thing is having people who will make her part of their lives. She doesn't need another temporary place.
