Mobley's Story

Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Mobley. He is one of Mommy Zoey's babies born. Zoey is a Bull Mastiff and his father is a Mastiff mix. He has a short brindle hair coat. Currently all legs but will fill out within the next year. Mommy Zoey is 110lbs so we estimate he may reach 100 lbs when fully grown at 18 months.

Mobley is a wonderful, sweet boy who loves attention. He is very attentive and will bark to let you know if there is a new sound he has yet to hear or a person or dog that is new in the foster home. He does very well with other dogs and plays with dogs the puppies often. He does not have a pushy disposition. He is a bit of a bull in a china shop currently but when he fills out, he will just be a big boy with great intentions.

He is not a high energy dog, just like his siblings and Mom. He is fed in his crate twice daily and eats Royal Canin Large Breed Puppy Food. Mobley is extremely food oriented. He knows his basic commands. He is good in the bath and Mom can do his nails afterwards in the tub, but he will not let the vets do it. He rides well in the vehicle and doesn't get carsick. This boy loves to play and romp in the snow with his siblings. Due to his short hair coat, he will require a coat in the winter. Mobley doesn't have a lot of experience on a leash so his new owners will need to get him used to being walked on one.

He truly has a loving nature. He will be a good protective dog for his new family but will check with his owners to ensure all is well with the stranger at the door.

The ideal home for Mobley is one where the family is able to take him to obedience classes for socialization and bonding time with the family members. This breed loves to sleep on the bed if allowed but he is used to sleeping on doggie bed in his foster home in his foster parent's room.

Mobley is up to date with vaccines and dewormed. Our vets are recommending we wait at least a year before neutering due to his size and breed mix.

Thank you tohttps://www.facebook.com/heidikflavienphotography?__tn__=%2Cd for producing these darling photos.

Visit barksandmeows.ca for an online application.
