MOA's Story

This dog's foster family reports: Moa is a sweet, spayed 6-7-year-old girl with the biggest, most loving heart. She’s a cuddle bug through and through, happiest when she’s by your side—whether it’s for a movie marathon, a work-from-home day, or just lounging around. She greets everyone with a charming, bouncy “hello” but quickly settles into calm companionship. As bubbly and affectionate as Moa is, the outside world can feel overwhelming for her. Walks, especially in busy areas like parks or neighborhoods with lots of activity, can be a challenge for her right now, and she’s still learning her leash skills. Moa would love a big, secure backyard where she can run and play with her human instead, enjoying the outdoors at her own pace without the stress of overwhelming sights and sounds. Moa would thrive as the one and only pet in your life, soaking up all the love and attention she deserves. That said, she’d also do well with a calm, larger dog after slow, thoughtful introductions. She’s not a fan of cats, small animals, or smaller dogs, so her perfect home would be without them. Older kids would be a better fit, as she doesn’t quite realize her size when she’s excited. She’s playful but not overly energetic - after her charming hello, she’s ready to curl up on your lap or at your feet. Moa is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and has impeccable manners - no chewing or getting into things she shouldn’t. She’s truly the sweetest, most loving companion you could ever hope to meet. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and easygoing buddy who just wants to be with you, Moa is ready to be your best friend!
