Mo's Story

*Mo is currently in foster in Puerto Rico. His adoption fee covers his vetting (neutering as well) as well as travel to his adoptive home. Apply today!*

Meet Mo, the most cuddly German Shepherd mix you've met in awhile. :) He leans into hugs and is such a sweet boy. He gets along great with other dogs, has not been cat tested yet (but loves to chase birds in flight at the beach!), and is a people pleaser. Although he was abandoned, he appeared to be in overall good health and is a people-pleaser, making his way around "his new block" while neighbors fed and watered him until PRDF could take on his case. He has not been in foster long, so his potty training and indoor habits are still unknown; however, his is an adventurous, friendly, happy gentleman when running the block. He is scheduled for neutering today on Dec. 22 (sorry, Mo... not the best Christmas present!) and we'll also get a vet report on his overall health and age.

Update on 12/22: Although Mo is not showing any symptoms, he has tested HW+, so we are starting his treatment. Please still apply now, as we'd love to have his family chosen and waiting for him when he is ready to go! :) He is WORTH THE WAIT. :) :)

Mo would be great for an active family, as German Shepherds / larger medium dogs need that exercise and stimulation. We think he is around 6 years old, and has a lot of love and life ahead of him with the right family. Make Mo part of your pack!

Check out the work we do at PRDF.org on Instagram or FaceBook. We look forward to hearing from you about your interest in Sweet Mo!
