Mixer's Story

Mixed Breed | Male | 1 year | 55 lbs | Adoption Fee $450

Requirements: Another dog in the home | Children 12+ | No cats or small animals

Everyone meet Mixer, from the Kitchen Appliances litter! He is a very curious and energetic pup that will keep you on your toes. It may take him a bit to warm up, but once he does, he will give you his whole heart. Though he may be slow to warm up to people, he loves being with other dogs. He does require a slow introduction, as he has not mastered his manners yet. Mixer does have an extremely high prey drive, so it’s best for him to be in a home with no cats.

Mixer loves toys of all kinds, and enjoys settling down with a good bone to chew on. It is so fun to watch him run around swinging his favorite Jolly ball. Mixer is a complete speed demon. His foster mom says she’s never seen a dog so fast. He needs lots of play time and walks to burn off his energy. However, he has no problem getting some good nap times throughout the day.

Also, get ready for all the boops. Time for a snack? Mixer will let you know. Potty time? Boop, boop. Don’t even get started on dinner time! Mixer is a very good boy in his crate at night, and will go in there periodically if he is tired or wants alone time. He is potty trained, and needs to be kept on schedule. Mixer will need additional training once adopted to help him with his manners and directional skills.

Mixer does have a soft side, and can be very docile and cuddly. His foster mom loves it when he voluntarily comes to snuggle. He will choose someone to make his favorite. Will it be you?

***Please inquire ONLY through our website: www.woofgangrescue.com***

DATCP 402490

Woof Gang Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our top priority here at WGR is to find the best possible home for each dog. We screen potential adopters in a variety of ways to ensure that every dog goes to a home that is safe, loving, and lasting. During the adoption process, you will work closely with your dog's foster parent(s), who know your dog most intimately and can determine if your home is the best fit for your dog. We will take an application, run a background check, and ensure all of your information is accurate. We schedule a meet & greet for your family to interact with your dog prior to adopt and we may also perform a scheduled home visit as well. All adopters sign a contract that outlines and promises proper treatment and care for your pet. The process may seem strict but it is that way on purpose. Most of the dogs we rescue come from shelters and/or abusive pasts. We are 100% dedicated to finding them a home where they can be happy, healthy, strong, loved, and cared for every day for the rest of their lives. ***We adopt to Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota only at this time. Residents of Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota will be required to drive to Wisconsin for a meet and greet and the dog that they apply for MUST already be spayed or neutered at the time of adoption.***
