Misty

Misty is a large-size 4-year-old Mountain Cur mix who weighs 46 pounds. Sweet Misty still has some weight to gain, as she came in quite underweight, but she's more than ready to find her new home and leave her shelter days in the past. She's a new resident at PCAS, but what we've learned about her so far is that she's a fan of everyone she meets! Misty is outgoing and a true social butterfly - every new face she meets gets her tail wagging! She truly wants to be where the people are. While Misty is a lover of all people, she does tend to become very stressed in the presence of other dogs. To set Misty up for success, she will need to be an only pet at this point in time. While she's had some positive nose-to-nose interactions with other friendly dogs at PCAS, we want to ensure that her next home is a good fit and that she'll feel the most comfortable there. Misty was tested for heartworms and Lyme and was negative for both. Misty is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to go home.
