Adopted<br/><br/>Mistletoe is the sweetest little soul who wants nothing more than to cuddle up with her people and shower them with love. <br/>Despite everything she’s been through, she loves with her whole heart. She just wants to belong.<br/>This girl is very food motivated and will happily sit at your feet while you cook, just in case a tasty morsel happens to hit the floor. Dinner time and treats are some of her favorite things!<br/>Mistletoe gets along well with other dogs after a slow and proper introduction. She would thrive as a cherished companion in a patient, loving home.<br/>She understands the concept of going potty outside and, with consistent access to a yard or regular walks, she’ll continue to build confidence and routine quickly. One thing she does not enjoy is being in a crate, after spending most of her life confined and used for breeding, she’s more than ready to leave that behind.<br/>Mistletoe would do best with someone who is home often, <br/>a work-from-home human, a retiree, or someone with a flexible schedule to help her continue adjusting to the world and all the kindness it has to offer.<br/>When she came to us, her intake notes told a story of neglect:<br/>* Growths on both hind legs<br/>* Wear on her right chest, likely from a tight harness<br/>* Degloving her lower jaw<br/>* Teeth ground down<br/>* Overgrown, curled nails<br/><br/>Mistletoe needs a little grace and a little patience as she learns that the world can be soft and safe.<br/><br/>What she deserves now is a cozy couch, gentle hands, and a family who will love her as deeply as she loves them.
