Mistletoe's Story
Meet Mistletoe!

Mistletoe came to us around Christmas — cold, alone, and living life at the end of a chain. That’s how she got her name, but this sweet girl is more than just a holiday rescue — she’s a shining example of resilience and hope.

Now about 1 to 1.5 years old, Mistletoe is soaking up every bit of affection she missed out on. She’s a petite 35–40 lb bundle of energy and joy, with a sleek black coat that glows in the sun and a heart that just wants to be loved.

She adores people and is learning what it means to be cherished. After a tough start in life, she’s ready to be someone’s one and only, wanting all the love for herself — and trust us, she’ll give it back tenfold.

Mistletoe is:
-Spayed
-Up to date on vaccinations
-Heartworm positive (but already starting treatment – non-contagious, and we’ll help with her care!)
-potty trained and crate trained

Sadly, heartworms are all too common in dogs who’ve lived outdoors without care — but Mistletoe is finally getting the treatment and support she deserves.

She’s fun, playful, affectionate, and ready to leave her past far behind.
