MISTLETOE's Story

Meet Mistletoe: Part Toy Lover, Part Lovebug, All Joy

Living in “Rowdy Row” hasn’t fazed Mistletoe one bit—this girl keeps her cool like a pro. She’s a playful pup with a special love for ball games, especially the kind where she can get her paws involved (why just chase when you can participate?). Watching her entertain herself in the yard is pure joy—she’s such a hoot and clearly knows it.

Mistletoe is happiest outside, soaking up fresh air and politely saying hello to neighboring dogs. She may take a moment to warm up—treats aren’t her top priority—but give her a little time and she’ll gently sit and accept them like a lady. She’s easy to redirect, an easy walker, and prefers pets and toys over snacks anyway.

Add in sweet kisses, calm vibes, and a playful heart, and you’ve got Mistletoe: a joyful, gentle soul who’s ready to brighten someone’s life (and maybe referee her own ball games).

She has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match! Check out her playgroup video here:

To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
