When she arrived, we expected a shy, underweight dogbut Misti surprised us all. Thanks to great care along the way, shes healthy, smart, friendly, and delightfully athletic.<br/>This girl is a quick study. She learned paw in just three tries and clearly already understood commands like sit and down. Since then, Misti has completed intensive obedience training at a professional boarding facility and has truly blossomed. Shes confident, fun, and social with other dogs, with no reactivity noted by her trainer. Misti has mastered an impressive list of skills, including sit, down, place, heel, recall, and polite door manners. She loves to stay active and thrives with structured playfetch and tug are two of her favorites! She does best with medium to large canine companions and an adopter who appreciates an energetic, engaged dog. Now on the third leg of her journey, Misti is settling into a foster home where shes working on house manners and continuing to polish her training with her foster mom, who is also a trainer.
