She currently weighs about 30 pounds and is growing into one amazing young lady.<br/>Missy's story started out a little differently than most puppies. When she was just one week old, her mom developed mastitis and could no longer nurse her properly. Missy was lovingly bottle fed, giving this little girl the extra care she needed to grow into the happy, healthy pup she is today. <br/>Missy is smart, affectionate, and incredibly loving. She is wonderful with children and absolutely loves playing with other dogs. And we're not just talking about dogs her own size—Missy is fantastic with tiny puppies, too! She has a gentle, playful side that makes her such a fun companion.<br/>Her days in her foster home are filled with playing and romping with her canine friends. But when evening arrives, Missy has a very important job to do...<br/> CATCH FIREFLIES! <br/>That's right! You may find Missy happily chasing those little glowing bugs around the yard as the sun goes down. We can't think of a better way for a young pup to spend a summer evening!<br/>When she's not busy playing or hunting fireflies, Missy is happy to settle down with her people and enjoy some love and attention. <br/>Missy is also housebroken and crate trained, giving her a wonderful head start on becoming the perfect family companion. <br/>Cats: Missy has not been exposed to cats, so we don't know how she would do with them yet.<br/>Missy has already overcome so much in her young life, and now she's ready for the best part of her story—finding a forever family who will love her as much as she deserves. <br/>Missy may have been born on St. Patrick's Day, but we think her lucky day will be the day she finds her forever home! <br/>Missy is Spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, on flea and tick prevention and micro-chipped. $115 rescue adoption fee applies.
