Miss Sweet Chewy's Story

* For a faster response please apply online prior to requesting a meet and greet. Apply at www.6dogreesrescue.org

Meet Miss Chewy! Miss Chewy is a beautiful spayed, athletic, 7-year-old female, 13-pound Chinese Crested/Terrier Mix and her adoption fee is $650. She is a special needs dog as she has Addison’s Disease, which is under control with a monthly injection and a daily pill – that she takes like a champ. The monthly cost of her meds is just under $100 per month.

Miss Chewy is a local girl, who came to 6dogrees Rescue when her human momma passed away.

Miss Chewy gets along well with dogs and LOVES cats, and would do well as an only dog or with a family that has dogs and/or cats. Miss Chewy loves to snuggle and be with her person. An ideal family would be a stay at home person/work from home person that Miss Chewy could be with through the day - she loves sitting by her foster momma while her foster mom is working. We are seeking a loving family that is familiar with small dogs and able to provide her with unconditional love throughout her lifetime. Please be prepared for a lifelong commitment before applying.

Miss Chewy will require:
- A fully fenced and secure yard.
- Monthly injection and daily meds to keep her Addison’s disease in check.

Ideally, dogs should be pottied every 4 to 5 hours. Dogs cannot be left alone for 8 hours per day. Home check and plan must be carefully thought out and presented at time of interview.

Miss Chewy is fostered north of Seattle, and if interested please submit an online adoption application at www.6dogrees.com. An adoption application must be filled out for all inquiries and prior to a meet and greet. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check prior to adoption approval.

The tax deductible adoption fee is not negotiable. The fee is needed in order for us to "save it forward" for the next dog. The fee covers spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, deworming, rabies vaccine. We seek the best "fit" home for our dogs.

6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters from the State of California while pet overpopulation is at epidemic levels and kill shelters are the norm. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we “Save it forward”; so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs.

6dogrees adoptions are limited to residents of Washington State.
