They are being fostered by several different families, check our website to see each one that is still available.. This is Miss June! She's already a speedy little girl! She certainly could be a sport dog. She loves to chase balls, she's been on some baby size agility equipment, and she crazy about any toy that moves.. Miss June is pretty well rounded, meaning she's been exposed to lots of different things, traveled to many different places, and she's takes in all in stride. Plus, she loves to meet new people and she likes all size dogs. Miss June's an outgoing, happy, friendly little girl whose tail wags almost as fast as she can run. Being one of the smaller pups in her litter, she has learned to be bold. She doesn't let her smaller size hold her back. She can play with the big dogs, then settle into being loved on by her person. At a moment's notice, she's ready to go play again. Miss June is an active girlie who will learn fast - She's smart, so she needs someone that can keep her busy, she'd love another dog to play with... if she gets bored, she'll dream up her own ways to entertain herself. The parents of these pups are wonderful companions - very friendly with people and other dogs, dad is about 30lbs, and Mom about 27 lbs. Remember, puppies are a lot of work but totally worth it! You will be asked about puppy proofing, house training, how long your puppy will be home alone, and socializing/training your puppy. BRBCR’s approval process includes phone interviews, reference checks, and a home visit prior to meeting a foster dog. Approved applicants must meet at the foster dog’s location. Every adoption begins with a 2-week trial period. The puppies’ adoption fee is $350. Since they are too young to be altered at this time, the Adoption Contract will include a Spay/Neuter Agreement which requires a deposit of $150 (to be refunded when veterinary proof of alteration has been provided). Blue Ridge Border Collie Rescue's Adoption Policy

BRBCR's adoption process requires that each of the following steps are successfully completed before meeting one of our foster dogs. The approval process typically takes 1 - 2 weeks. 1. Contact the foster parent of the dog that you are interested in to request an adoption application. 2. Fill out an adoption application on our website OR email a completed adoption application to brbcrdogs@gmail.com. 3. A BRBCR volunteer will conduct a phone interview with the applicant and the applicant's veterinarian and personal references. 4. A BRBCR volunteer will conduct a home visit with the applicant. Upon approval, the foster parent will set up a Meet and Greet for the applicant. If the Meet and Greet is successful, then the applicant will be able to take the BRBCR dog home for a 2-week trial period. If the trial period is successful, the adoption becomes official.
