Miss Honey (Reduced Rover)'s Story

Miss Honey - Sweet as Pie, Tough as a Two-Dollar Steak
Pocket Pittie Mix 47 lbs of Southern Sass & Sugar

Well, hey there, sugar! The name's Miss Honey - emphasis on the Miss, because I'm single, independent, and not raisin' any more babies unless they come with a leash and a treat jar. I've done my mama duties (eleven of 'em, bless my heart), and now I'm ready for a life of porch swings, belly rubs, and bein' told I'm pretty.

I'm the total package: sweet as sweet tea, polite as your grandma's manners, and loyal enough to guard your heart and your couch. I strut on the leash like I'm heading to Sunday brunch in pearls, know how to "sit" like a lady, and I'm also potty and kennel trained.

I'm dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and sweeter than a basket of beignets, but don't you dare bring a cat around here. Even Southern ladies have limits, bless their furry little hearts.

If you're lookin' for a gal who's equal parts honey and hot sauce - the kind who'll melt in your arms but still runs her own show - well, sugar, your search is over. Miss Honey's ready to find her forever home and her next great love story... preferably one with biscuits, belly rubs, and no cats.

PLEASE READ BELOW:

If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, the first step is to complete an application and read all of our FAQs:

https://www.takepawsrescue.org/adopt

Please note: Information to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application.
*An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application*
All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
For more on this, or for additional information, including the adoption process and our adoption fee scale for all our adoptable pets (including an explanation about Benefactor Dogs), please see our FAQs page:

https://www.takepawsrescue.org/faq

Any breed labels used by Take Paws Rescue, its employees/volunteers, or on vet records provided cannot be guaranteed.
