Meet Miss Honey!<br/><br/>A fun, active, and incredibly smart girl who is looking for a special person to call her own! Honey loves having a job to do and truly enjoys training. She already knows sit, down, stay, and come, and she's a great listener when given verbal cues. She has also attended training classes and has enjoyed learning and practicing around other people and dogs.<br/><br/>When she's not busy showing off her skills, Honey is perfectly happy to relax at home, watch the world go by from a window, or stretch out in a sunny spot for a good sunbath. While she has plenty of energy for adventures and activities, she also appreciates her downtime and would love a home where she can enjoy both.<br/><br/>Honey would thrive in an adult-only, low-traffic household, potentially with older teenagers. She may be able to live with the right dog, but she isn't particularly interested in playing with other dogs and would likely be happiest as the center of attention.<br/><br/>Honey can be uncertain when unfamiliar people enter her home or yard and may become reactive when she is startled or spooked by their arrival. She does much better when given the opportunity to meet new people slowly and outside of the home. She also finds veterinary handling challenging and can become defensive or reactive, so she is looking for an experienced adopter who understands her needs and is willing to continue working on or thoughtfully managing these behaviors.<br/><br/>Honey has so much to offer the right person.
