Miss Happy's Story

Don’t Worry, Adopt Miss Happy!MEET MISS HAPPY!

The second of our Christmas Eve delivery of puppies from TX, Miss Happy is here to tell you that you need a second dog! Like her sister, this little gal was born to an Australian Cattle Dog mom and a dad who was believed to be a labrador. She was born on 10/7/25 and is a typical, happy, roly-poly, growing puppy. Only ~3 months old, she is not yet spayed but that will be a condition of her adoption.

This little spitfire is very sweet. Unlike most puppies her age she does very little mouthing or biting of hands so we believe she would be good with respectful kids. She is highly food motivated, so training is easy and fun. She’s already learned Sit, Lay Down and Paw and she is working on leash manners.

Miss Happy is also doing really well with potty training with consistency and patience from her people. She sleeps in her crate, but still has to rage for about 30 minutes to get her puppy energy all the way out before she’s ready for dream land.

She absolutely loves other dogs (do you have one??) and would love to go to a home where she can be the little sister. She promises not to be too annoying to her big bro or sis! But if you don’t have a dog already, she’s ok with that situation as well. She loves people even more than dogs and bonds quickly and deeply to her human. If you need someone who will adore you unconditionally, look no further than into her deep, dreamy eyes. She will follow you to the end of the earth - or the bathroom, whichever you prefer.

Miss Happy’s adoption donation fee is $450, which includes routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for her by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.org. Please email us at info@tarashouse.net with any questions.
