Miss Daisy's Story

Miss Daisy was named in honor of the first day of spring, the day she arrived at our shelter. She seems to have once belonged somewhere, but now finds herself a bit confused and unsure of her surroundings. Despite this, she remains gentle and kind, with a quiet spirit that touches everyone she meets.

She gets along well with other dogs but prefers her own space and she is fine with cats. She enjoys soft beds, walks, and peaceful company.

This adorable girl looks like she could be a mix of a Chihuahua and a Blue Heeler - perhaps Bluey's long lost Grandma? She is about 10 years old and has very few teeth, so she does best with soft food. She currently weighs 19 pounds, but she should lose a couple pounds to be at her ideal weight.

Miss Daisy is looking for a calm, loving home where she can spend her golden years surrounded by comfort and kindness. She would do well with someone who appreciates the quiet companionship of a senior dog and can offer her the stability she deserves.

Her adoption fee is $70.00 which includes spay, microchip up to date vaccines, treatment for internal/external parasites, HW negative, and she is on monthly preventative for fleas/ticks/HW
