She is a serious resource guarder and can bite when her boundaries are ignored, so her future human needs genuine experience with spicy dogs, excellent judgment, and no delusions that "she'll let me" constitutes a safety protocol. A long lead and martingale help everyone respect the jurisprudence.<br/><br/>The plot twist is that Miriam is also an industrial-grade lovebug.<br/><br/>She adores belly rubs, toys, car rides, walks, and snuggling into little-spoon formation with the same human whose recent petition to relocate her was summarily denied. Earn her trust and she is affectionate, hilarious, devoted, and apparently sees no contradiction here whatsoever.<br/><br/>Thunderstorms trigger immediate witness-protection protocol. At board-and-train, her operatic objections earned her the name Moaning Myrtle, proving that while Miriam may compromise on certain matters, theatrical restraint is not among them.<br/><br/>She is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, crate trained, good on leash, and an accomplished passenger. Dogs are a carefully considered maybe. Cats have occasionally passed committee review. Humans are welcome provided they arrive with boundaries, competence, and perhaps snacks.<br/><br/>Miriam is not beginner-level dog ownership. She is graduate coursework with a cuddle practicum. She needs an adult home that understands resource guarding, respects her signals, and can love a complicated little creature without pretending the complicated parts aren't real.<br/><br/>Because beneath all that constitutional law is a genuinely loving dog who wants belly rubs, companionship, and jurisdiction over several household assets.<br/><br/>Miriam contains multitudes. Some of them have teeth.
