Hi, my name is Mira!
I love being around people and will let you know it when I greet you with my positive energy! My youth shines through when I'm playing ball, tug of war, and enjoying normal dog activities rather than worrying about where I'll find shelter and a meal. Who knew life could be so much better in a warm home? I'm great with people, and may need training not to jump up if I'm around small kids. I am also good with Cats! I occasionally chew on something I'm not supposed to-but I am trying to be the best pup!
I love going on walks, great on leash, but pull to get to the cool things to smell. I like to take car rides, appreciate my toys,, I'm crate trained, house trained, and can almost roam the house unattended.
I had a tough start to life because I lived on my own in the woods. Thankfully, a nice lady down the street saw that I was homeless and came and fed me every day, which, made me less scared of people. I got pregnant and had my puppies before they could spay me. After only a week with the puppies, I became gentler and more trusting. Nice people came and helped us. They didn't even have to use a dog trap; we went right to them! After they were weened, my puppies went to good foster homes and got adopted right away. I would love to find my forever home too so I can count on being LOVED the rest of my days!

Mira is part of our Home to Home Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee. Pawmetto Lifeline wants every animal to have a chance to find a loving home.
