Meet Mira<br/><br/>Mira is a tiny girl with a huge heart who hasn’t had the easiest start to life. She was being given away at a flea market, and we scooped her up before anyone could try to breed her. She came to us with signs of rickets in her front legs, along with some possible genetic issues. Her back legs are bowed as well, and one back hip may give her trouble in the future.<br/><br/>Our vet feels confident that her front legs should straighten out beautifully with proper nutrition. As for the back hip, it’s truly a 50/50 situation—she may grow out of it as she matures with good nutrition and care, or she may have some challenges later in life. We won’t know for sure until she’s around six to eight months old.<br/><br/>What we do know is that Mira doesn’t let any of this slow her down. She is a joyful, bright, happy puppy with the biggest, sweetest puppy-dog eyes you’ve ever seen. One look from her and your heart will be stolen.<br/><br/>Mira is looking for a forever home that understands her past and is prepared for the possibility of future orthopedic needs—but also sees the incredible little soul she is today.
