Minnie's Story

Here's what my friends at the shelter had to say about me!

"Minnie girl is cute as a button - the perfect little pocket pittie. In the run she was a total bundle of energy, and being in a corner kennel has clearly been overstimulating for her. During her temp test she was VERY excited, so she'd do best with a dog who can handle playful puppy energy and help her learn how to tone it down.
She ran around happily but also struck a pose every time I pulled out a treat - she knows how to work the camera! She'll need some training and outlets for all that energy, but she's sweet and worth the effort. I'm hoping someone falls in love with her goofy smile."

"When I took Minnie out, she sprinted outside with me in tow. She's been cooped up way too long. Once she burned off some energy, she was happy to pose for photos - tongue out in every single one. She did well on her dog test and would love a family with dogs to play with and a yard to run in. She's so enthusiastic about life... I would hate to see it end in a kennel. She deserves a chance to be the happy, active girl she wants to be."

Bark About It Rescue's Adoption Policy
We utilize a foster to adopt process, whereby dogs are placed with a prospective family following the acceptance of their application including a vet reference check and a home check. Following foster placement the rescue follows up with the family to ensure it is a good fit for the dog and family's respective wants and needs. If the foster period is successful, the adoption can be formalized with an adoption contract.
