Minnie's Story
Minnie is still waiting... and she deserves her chance.

Minnie is a beautiful black pit mix with a heart full of love—but she's facing what we often call a “triple strike.” She's a pit mix, she likely needs to be the only dog, and she's black—one of the most overlooked colors in shelters. But Minnie is so much more than the boxes stacked against her. Two years ago, she was rescued from a truly abusive situation and went on to bravely survive parvo. Not long after, she suffered an unexpected attack from another dog in her foster home, leaving her with both physical and emotional scars. Because of that trauma, Minnie is understandably cautious around other dogs and would do best in a calm, stable home as your one and only.

With people, though, Minnie is pure love. She adores attention, enjoys her toys, and would be perfectly happy living her best life as a couch companion, soaking up affection and treats. It's been two long years of Minnie waiting, watching others get chosen while she remains stuck in limbo. We know her person is out there—someone patient, kind, and willing to see past the “strikes” and recognize the incredible dog she truly is. Please share her story and help Minnie finally find the loving home she has been waiting for.
