Minnie's Story

Minnie is a one-year-old, adorable, happy Chow mix who is affectionate, people-focused, and full of playful puppy charm. She’s brave, friendly, curious, funny, and incredibly snuggly, with the cutest blue tongue and a silky-soft gray coat. She’s the kind of dog who truly wants to be right by your side.

At just 35 lbs, Minnie is the perfect compact companion. She’s a little low to the ground and absolutely loves popping up onto her hind legs to say hello and get closer to your level — it’s one of her sweetest signature moves!

Minnie is house trained and crate trained, and she’s already started learning basic commands like “sit” and “down.” She’s very food-motivated and eager to please, making training both rewarding and fun. While she hasn’t had formal leash training yet, she’s simply enthusiastic about exploring the world (and stopping to sniff along the way!).

She’s a strong, spirited girl when it comes to toys — durable ones are a must! Some of her favorite things include:
• Playing with other dogs
• Car rides
• Kongs stuffed with peanut butter
• Meals served in puzzle feeders

Minnie may thrive best as your one-and-only, but she truly enjoys other dogs and would be thrilled to have doggy playdates or a well-matched canine companion.

If you’re looking for a loving, cuddly best friend with tons of personality and sweet, silly antics, Minnie might just be your perfect match. 💛

Apply to adopt:
