Minnie's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Minnie – Housetrained, Sweet, Dignified Beagle Lady
Minnie is a charming, mature beagle who is 1000% housetrained—she will wait patiently all day until you can take her outside. She’s an easy companion with wonderful manners and a gentle heart.
Minnie enjoys affection but prefers older children and adults, as she doesn’t like being picked up or babied. She loves being petted and doted on, but always with dignity.
She gets along well with other dogs, though she prefers not to share her bed at first—her big dog bed is her safe space, and after her rough start to life, she’s earned it. Once settled, she happily plays with friendly dogs and has even shared her bed with trusted foster siblings.
Minnie may take a few days to feel comfortable enough to eat regularly, but once she does, she eats without issue. She should be fed separately from other dogs to prevent food guarding, but she has no problems with people handling her food or bowl.
She has recently started barking and trying to play with the cats, so she would do best in a cat-free home or with very confident, tolerant cats.
Minnie is a sweet, gentle girl who has been passed around too many times.
