Minnie's Story

MINNIE IS LOOKING FOR HER PERSON!

At 10 years young, Minnie has perfected the art of enjoying the good things in life: crinkle toys, stuffed-animal demolition, squirrel watching, plenty of treats, and lots of love.

Minnie is silly, affectionate, and full of personality. She’s the kind of girl who can make you laugh one minute and happily settle in as your companion the next. And while she’s a fan of almost any treat you offer, apples are apparently beneath her. A girl has to have standards.

Minnie is looking for a foster home where she can be the one and only pet, which just means you get all of her love, all of her goofy antics, and the very important job of keeping her supplied with crinkle toys.

She does have a grade 5 heart murmur and some skin issues that are being managed, but Minnie doesn’t seem particularly concerned about any of that. She has squirrels to supervise and toys to destroy!

As a black, bully-type senior dog, Minnie has a few things working against her when it comes to getting noticed. But spend a little time with her and you’ll quickly see what really matters: she’s a funny, affectionate, wonderful girl who would love nothing more than a comfortable home and a person of her own.

Minnie isn’t asking for much. A cozy place to land, someone to love, and preferably no apples.

Could you be Minnie’s foster hero? Please share and help us find her person!
