Minka – Staffordshire Terrier mix – 5yrs – female (74lbs)<br/><br/>Please welcome our gorgeous girl, Minka! Minka was surrendered to a county shelter when her family moved away and decided not to take her with them. The poor girl did nothing wrong, but was abandoned anyway. What’s even worse is that Minka then sat at that county shelter for AN ENTIRE YEAR before we finally stepped in and rescued her. We’re thrilled to have her with us and she’s settling in nicely at the Pit Stop. <br/><br/>We’re learning more about Minka every day and we truly can’t believe she’s been overlooked for so long. She LOVES water! She splashes and plays in the baby pool every chance she gets, it’s so fun to watch. ? Minka may have a serious face, but her personality is pure joy. She’s silly, happy, and fun! Minka has a number of canine playmates at our shelter and plays well. She also appears to be housebroken as she doesn’t have accidents in her kennel area. She loves people and has decent manners. She sometimes pulls on a leash, but typically calms down as she goes. This girl is athletic and will make a great adventure buddy, but also loves a snuggle. All in all, our big girl is a total gem!
