Meet Mingo
Many people worked hard to save Mingo!
Mingo was brought to a local shelter as a stray and was there for over 3 months... He tested positive for heartworms and required treatment that many adopters cannot afford for a newly adopted dog. His time was up and the advocates rallied! They collected donations towards his rescue and heartworm treatment, and asked for us to save this sweet boy. He has shown he is grateful with all of the love he gives our volunteers!
Mingo is brindle cutie, approx. 2 years old and only about 40 lbs. He walks well on leash (and LOVES to go for walks!). He is affectionate and gentle enough for children. He likes to play with toys a bit, but is really more interested in snuggling and being petted. He will soon have those nasty heartworms treated so he can move on with the rest of his long and happy life. All that is missing is his the new family to share it with!
Mingo is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Our $250 adoption fee covers these expenses.
