Mindy's Story

Meet Mindy!

Mindy is a true little princess with a big heart and an even bigger personality. She’s a 2–3 year old Chinese Crested–Poodle mix (best guess), weighing 8 pounds, who wears her heart on her sleeve—with Mindy, you’ll always know exactly what she’s thinking and where you stand!

This girl is very special, and looking for a very particular type of home. Please read carefully!!

Mindy prefers people over pups. She tolerates other small dogs, as long as they don't touch her or try to play with her. (Untested with cats). She would really prefer to be your only in a perfect world. What Mindy really wants is a warm lap to curl up on or to be carried around in her cozy sling like the royalty she is. If those options aren’t available, she feels safest tucked under a chair or bed, watching the world from her quiet little hideaway.

Mindy would thrive in a calm home without children, or kids age 12+. Fast movements and loud noises from younger kids can be overwhelming for her.

She would be perfectly happy in a house, apartment, or condo—and bonus: she rarely barks! PHYSICALLY FENCED YARD REQUIRED bc she isnt leash trained.

Mindy is both crate trained and house trained and will need regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines.

Mindy is searching for a gentle, loving family and a warm lap to call her own. 💗

Her adoption fee is $450. She is spayed, microchipped, utd on vaccinations, and comes with a month of pet insurance.

If you are interested in meeting Mindy, please fill out an application at www.adoptapal.org/adopt
