Meet sweet Mindy! She's about 6 years old and weighs 61lbs. <br/><br/>Mindy has not had the easiest life. When Lab Rescue OK volunteers met her at a shelter, she was shy and timid and her chance of getting out of the shelter was zero to none because she has some physical impairments. She’s vision impaired in the left eye and her left leg was broken at one time. Volunteers believe she was hit by a car and never received veterinary care for her injuries. But Mindy doesn’t let her bad eye or bad leg hold her back. She walks on a leash like she’s at the Westminster competition, plays and wrestles with other dogs like she’s a heavyweight champ, and prances around the house like she owns it. No physical disability will hold her back from living her best life. She has a love for life that is infectious — maybe it’s because she’s grateful to have a safe and loving environment to thrive and flourish in. She is house- and crate-trained.
