Mina's Story
Meet MINA

She is 2.5 years old sweet soul who is looking for her family.
Mina is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.
She was rescued after being injured (we suspect hit and run) from a busy highway. The vet exam showed fracture of the front paw which is now fully healed with no apparent sequelae.
She was discharged from the vet care and is currently staying with the foster family. Of note, Mina’s tail was cut off ( we are not sure if it was as act of cruelty or it was done for a reason).

Mina is a very friendly, sweet girl with rather mellow temperament. She is cuddly but not needy. She is housetrained and walks well on a leash. Not fun of the car rides (in her deference, she did not have much exposure to cars), but rides well enough. She is not destructive when left along. She will just take a nap on her doggy bed.
She is dog friendly ( with both male and female dogs), but gradual introductions may be needed as she may be a little unsure of herself and can get scared if another dog plays too rough. When communicating with dogs that were properly introduced, she is doing very well, is very attentive to communication clues and will not insist on playing if another dog is not interested.

She is currently sharing a foster home with 3 other doggos and a few cats.
She is doing great with cats ( i.e. ignores them, unless they initiate the play).
The best family for Mina would be a patient, loving family who will understand her need to adjust to a new environment, will be patient and helpful in building her confidence. A nice, playful, mellow K9 sibling, who will show her the ropes would be a great asset.

If you think you are the one for MINA, please fill out our application form below:

https://goo.gl/forms/80uR9C9XoejiZFgm2
