Mimosa is a 1-year-old Pittie mix weighing about 37 pounds, and she is as sweet as they come. She was brought to us after a kind citizen found her running alone in the rain. When Mimosa first arrived, she was very shy and just wanted a safe place to hide. After 53 days in our care, she has truly blossomed. While she can still be a little timid when meeting new people, she warms up quickly and reveals her incredibly loving and gentle nature.<br/><br/>Mimosa has gained so much confidence by being around other dogs. She absolutely loves having canine companions and gets excited when meeting new playmates. Because she thrives with other dogs, we believe she would do wonderfully in a home with another friendly pup to help her continue building confidence. She may also do well with cats given a slow and proper introduction.
