Mimi's Story

Where do I start about Mimi. Mimi came to the shelter very pregnant. Around Christmas time in 2025, a Sunday morning she gave birth to 12 puppies. Mimi was an attentive and loving mother, and her puppies flourished. After a few weeks, Mimi started to show that she wasn't feeling well. A trip to the vet determined she had mastitis. With a strong antibiotic and lots of love from volunteers Mimi got better, but could no longer nurse her puppies. All 12 puppies were successfully placed in foster homes! Mimi is showing her personality and growing into herself more every day. Mimi LOVES people. She enjoys all the affection, she is good with children, and other dogs. Mimi has captured the hearts of the volunteers at Humane Society of Ray County. The love she has to offer, and the trials she overcame. Mimi is deserving of an amazing happy ever after.
