WHAT AN INNOCENT FACE! Est DOB 12/22/23, weight 55 pounds Hey there, everyone! I’m Milo, and I’m a sweet, happy, playful black Labrador/ German Shepherd mix fella with a splash of white on my nose and on my chest. I’ve got the prick ears of a Shepherd but my solid black coat and lanky build indicate my Lab heritage. I’m one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet because I love everyone, and of course, everyone loves me back. Could it be because of the always-innocent expression on my face? One of my favorite things to do is fall asleep on top of Foster Mom. True confessions: I snore a bit! I’m smart as a whip, and because I’m very food-motivated, treats have helped me to pick up a few commands very quickly. I have lots of energy, so I love to horse around with the resident dog in my foster home but I also love to go to Doggy Day Care where I get along with everybody! I’m curious about the cats, but I haven’t been allowed to meet them yet. Thank heavens Foster Mom rescued me as a stray who was wandering her neighborhood with no collar, tags, or chip. Now I’m ready to find my forever home, and I can’t wait! Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me, and I promise to cover your face with mushy pupper kisses. Adopting an animal is a very serious decision and we want to be sure that our potential adoptive families have thought about the impact of this decision carefully. To adopt an animal through HOPE, we request that you complete an online Adoption Application, a copy of which is available online for cats at http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php or for dogs at http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php . You may fill it out online or print a copy of the application and complete it prior to arriving at an adoption session. This will expedite the adoption process and will also assist our adoption counselors in matching you to a suitable pet. We at HOPE make every effort to match our foster pets to appropriate homes. If you feel that we are too intrusive, please understand that it is because we care about their welfare. All animals are neutered or spayed, microchipped, and have received age appropriate shots prior to being adopted. We ask that you provide a $100 donation for cats in the Houston, TX area ($325 for remote adoptions) and a donation of $150 for dogs in the Houston, TX area ($600 for remote adoptions) when you adopt your new family member from us. This donation helps us in defraying the costs of these and other medical needs of our animals.
