Constant visitors and chaos? Hard pass. Calm, consistency, and his people? That’s where Milo shines.

Milo came from a very rough previous home where he wasn’t properly cared for or socialized, and because of that, the world can still feel like a lot sometimes. He’s been learning what safety, structure, and love actually look like — and he’s made incredible progress. He doesn’t need to be everyone’s dog; he just wants to be someone’s.

Once you’re in his circle, Milo is all heart. He’s deeply affectionate, incredibly loyal, and loves being close to his humans. He’s fully potty trained, knows his commands, and has mastered the perfect balance of playtime and professional-level couch potato.

Milo loves his toys, especially bones and chew toys, enjoys long walks, and is a big fan of playing fetch. He’s dog friendly and enjoys canine companions. Cats are a maybe — he can coexist with the right, confident, dog-savvy cat, but it really depends on the cat and proper introductions.

Milo also has allergies that require some ongoing management, but once you have a routine in place, it’s very manageable and something his foster team is happy to discuss in detail.

Milo will thrive in a home that values routine, patience, and understanding — a place where he doesn’t have to constantly meet new people but can feel safe, settled, and loved. In return, he’ll give you unwavering devotion, a whole lot of affection, and the kind of bond that comes from earning a dog’s trust.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who chooses you every single day, Milo might just be your guy.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS
*ADOPTION FEE: None
*Be at least 21 years of age
*Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household
*Have approval from owner of residence (written in lease)
*Have a valid ID with current address (please provide proof of address if ID address is not up-to-date)
*Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Fetching Tails Foundation
*Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment
*QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR POLICIES?
