Milo's Story
This is Milo, turned two in February, longhair dachshund mix. He is neutered and utd on vaccinations. He is a owner surrender due to the fact that the young children in the house were not his cup of tea and he nipped them, not meanly just nervous but the parents didn't want that for all involved. To add to that this was his second home! His first owner got him as a puppy and the man in the home left him in the crate for long periods of time on top of harsh discipline after chewing up something of his. At this point, 8 months old the mom of the house decided it wasn't safe for him and rehomed him to the family with kids. We have fostered him now for about a month, he is getting better at meeting new people. He would do better in a home with teenager children, or a couple with time to show him what a loving home is all about. He is mostly house trained, he will tolerate a crate but only for short periods at a time. PS he has not pooped in our shop once, he has hiked a time or two when other males are around. He walks on the leash, but he acts like a sled dog but with guidance and lots of love Milo will be a great companion
