MILO's Story
Meet Milo — One-of-a-Kind Mix with a Big Heart Milo is a 3-year-old mixed breed made up of Springer Spaniel, Australian Cattle Dog, Husky, Shih Tzu, and Chihuahua — and yes, that fun combo came from a DNA test his adopter completed! Milo’s story with PAC began on 2/5/25 when he was found as a stray by a police officer. After completing his stray hold, Milo went home with that officer, who hoped to give him a fresh start. Unfortunately, despite good intentions, the home environment wasn’t the right fit for Milo. There was a lot going on in the household, and the younger child struggled to respect Milo’s boundaries. Milo does not like children getting in his face and became uncomfortable when his space wasn’t respected. Because of this, we are recommending no children under 5, and any children in the home must be respectful and able to follow dog-safety rules. Milo does enjoy kids when interactions are calm and appropriate. Milo can also become possessive of certain family members and may show dominant behavior with other dogs, so slow introductions and proper management will be important. He would do best with owners who can provide structure, consistency, and clear expectations. What we love about Milo: Very affectionate — he leans into you for back scratches Knows “sit” and other basic cues Walks well on leash Potty trained Loyal and people-oriented Milo is a smart, loving dog who wants to be close to his people and thrive in a calm, structured home. With the right guidance and respectful interactions, he has so much love to give. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and can provide the environment Milo needs to succeed, he may be the perfect match for your family.
