Milo's Story
Meet Milo!

Milo was rescued from a high kill shelter and was in pretty bad shape at the time. He had infections, terrible teeth and was still intact.
Today, he is feeling so much better. After getting 15 teeth removed, neutered, and free of infection, Milo is ready to find his forever home.

He would do well in a home with someone that is able to care for a senior dog. Milo will melt in your arms and enjoys being picked up, loves car rides, and will go wherever you are. He is great with my pack of dogs (all sizes and personalities) and I am assuming he would do well with cats because he's pretty chill. I think an adult only quiet home would be great for him since he is a senior and really just wants to rest and be near you for the rest of his days. His back legs are a little stiff so he's not able to jump up like he used to, back in his puppy days.

He is heartworm negative. He's got a great appetite and is able to go outside on his own to go potty. He loves to explore when given the opportunity. I have a large fenced in area and he just cruises around on his own exploring until he can't see you anymore. He'll let you know that he's missing you and once he sees you again, he'll trot over and join you.. He has a wonky right front paw that might have been broken in his early years or maybe he was born that way. It doesn't bother him but he might curl it under his leg sometimes.

Is Milo the sweet senior boy that you've been looking for?

Please send a email to ontheroadtorescue@gmail.com for an application.
