Shelby County Animal Control Facility's Adoption Policy
Our adoptable pets are examined by a veterinary technician, tested for heartworm disease (dogs) and FELV (cats), given their vaccine booster(s), and treated for fleas. Monetary Donations are much appreciated!

**Adopter will sign a contract to spay/neuter, microchip and rabies vaccine, if not already completed. Adopter will send proof back from your vet within 30 days of adoption, that you have complied with the contract.***
