Milo's Story

Milo, our sweet 3‑year‑old Chihuahua–Shih Tzu mix, is currently at a boarding facility and was recently evaluated by Parker’s PackLV, where he showed no concerning behaviors and instead jumped into a lap and stayed there the whole time, soaking up affection. Parker noted that Milo may have shown subtle signs of discomfort in the past, such as turning his head away or reacting when someone got too close to his face, but overall Milo proved himself to be gentle, sensitive, and affectionate. He is now fully vetted, including neutered, and ready for his forever family — our goal is to get him adopted into a loving home where he can finally settle and shine. At the same time, Shadow, our 11‑month‑old sweetheart, is thriving in her Las Vegas foster home, already spayed, fully vaccinated, and showing her playful, loyal spirit every day as she follows her humans from room to room like a true shadow of love. Shadow is ready for her forever family, and if she is adopted, her foster family will open their home to Milo, giving him the chance to leave boarding while we continue searching for his own forever family. One adoption could unlock two happy endings: Shadow’s forever family and Milo’s chance to move forward toward his own. Please share to help us make this happen. ❤️

📩 Contact: Mayte’s Rescue – miamorinc@gmail.com • Kim – kim@maytesrescue.com
