Milo's Story

Meet Milo, 3 months old Border Collie mix

Milo was found by Animal Control, and sadly, no one ever came looking for him. We can’t imagine how anyone could leave this sweet face behind, but Milo is making the very best of his second chance here with us. He is full of personality and absolutely loves to play. He gets the zoomies, enjoys tossing his toys around, and will happily entertain himself, but what he really loves most is when someone will sit down and play with him. Once he’s gotten some of that puppy energy out, he is more than happy to be held and soak up some snuggles too.

We are guessing Milo is a Border Collie and Cattle Dog mix, which means he is a high-energy, intelligent puppy who is going to need a home prepared to provide daily exercise, enrichment, and mental stimulation. This is not a “leave him in the yard and hope for the best” kind of pup — he is going to thrive in a home that will keep his mind and body busy as he grows. He is such a sweet boy and deserves a family who is ready for all the fun and responsibility that comes with an active herding-breed mix puppy.

We are a shelter located in Gainesville, TX, but we offer transportation services all over the U.S. If you’d like to learn more about Milo call us anytime at 940-665-9800. We are open 11 AM–5 PM (closed Thursday and Friday). You can also submit an adoption application here: https://noahsarktx.com/adopt/
