Milo's Story

Meet Milo 💙
Milo is about 5 years old and has been patiently waiting in the program for over four years, hoping for someone to finally see the amazing dog he truly is. He’s good with other dogs and does well in familiar routines, but Milo can be wary of strangers and new situations at first. The world can feel overwhelming to him until he understands it—and that understanding takes time, patience, and compassion.

Once Milo trusts you, he forms a deep bond and becomes incredibly loving and loyal to his people. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t give his heart easily, but when he does, it’s truly special.

Milo has been working hard and thriving in his routine:

Goes on walks with volunteers three times a week and does great

Attends doggy daycare daily and does well with other dogs

Loves mental enrichment and enjoys working his brain with his person

He has also spent a few overnight stays in a home with a staff member, where he proved himself to be a perfect gentleman.
